The Winand Elementary School PTA is a very active and supportive group. The association is composed of volunteer parents and committed staff members who devote their time and talents to providing support for our school and special experiences and events for our students & community. Your membership and participation in this outstanding organization directly benefits your child’s education.
There are many opportunities for parents to become involved. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month either in person in the school cafetorium or via Zoom on an alternating schedule. Please check dates below and be sure to add them to your calendar so you can join us.
Research shows that parent involvement is key to helping children succeed in school. It goes even further by stating that children do better in all ways when their parents care about what they are doing at home, in the community and in school. Allow us to be help establish communication between school and home. Stay up to date with all the ins and outs in our school and have a voice that is heard. Parents are encouraged to attend meetings, support activities, and volunteer.
